The opening event, which will host invited government officials, tourism industry key figures, VIP guests, tourists and media, will feature authentic and modern Thai and Asian mixed dishes by famous female chef Vaewta Chookasem, alongside light signature beach cocktails and entertainment till late including a taste of Southeast Asian fire dance. Chookasem is a well known figure in the Thai culinary world, having a wealth of 22 years of experience in top restaurants and hotels in Asia and Europe. The 80 seat TAO overlooks the crystalline waters of Benoa with a lagoon pool feature and a sunken bar. Warm maroon umbrellas shade guests who prefer to enjoy their food on the golden sands. The architecture, designed by famous Hadiprana & Associates, is reflective of autumn coloured oriental Asian schemes, fused with modern motif elements.
