Extreme Dance brings an alternative faculty of top choreographers and teachers from NY and LA to educate and inspire young dancers. Founder of the convention Melissa Williams personally hand picked Jaclyn to be a part of this convention and also incorporated her song “Do You Love Me” into the convention’s grand finale performance. Jaclyn will be joining Extreme Dance on their tour across Canada, which also includes two US dates (Chicago & Detroit). Extreme Dance founder, Melissa Williams has an extensive background; she is a reputable choreographer/performer (Prince, George Michael, Bryan Adams, Carmen Electra, David LaChapelle, and Joseph Kahn) and actress (Showgirls, Batman & Robin, That Thing You Do). Jaclyn and Melissa have worked together in the past on numerous productions developing a great working rapport and mutual admiration for each other’s work. The song featured in the competition’s grand finale is off of Jaclyn Whittal’s recently released album “Screwtiny”. This CD is a dynamic collaboration of 10 original tracks with producer/songwriter Ross Hardy (American Idol, Late Night with David Letterman, Everybody Loves Raymond) and mastered by Nick Blagona (Foo Fighters, The Tea Party, Green Day) at MetalWorks Studios.
