Descrption: Milwaukee, WI – December 8, 2005- Last year, JP Morgan Chase axed a multi-billion dollar outsourcing pact with IBM, a decision that reflects a recent trend of companies who are rethinking their original decision to send their IT off shore. Why? Companies such as JP Morgan Chase are realizing that with new technology developments, IT departments have become assets rather than burdens. IT departments now represent a potential competitive edge which accounts for the growing trend of Inshoring, or bringing IT jobs back to America.
According to a recent Deloitte Consulting LLP survey, sixty-four percent of enterprise companies have brought at least some of their outsourced IT services back in-house. Since 2001 when the recession prompted this Offshoring trend, many corporations have become disillusioned with the initial low price tag. Problems such as higher contract administration costs, diminished quality of service, and loss of flexibility are just some of the difficulties for which many corporations did not bargain. CEOs’ are finally realizing that an IT department strategically leveraged can provide service solutions, instead of just service problems. However, in order to regain that control, they need to bring their knowledge and service back to America.
CCISAP understands the wisdom of relying on American IT experts. “We only use American IT professionals which allows us to bypass the risks and liabilities of Offshoring that other companies have only recently recognized,” stated Christopher Carter, President and Chief Executive Officer of CCISAP. “This backlash has only solidified our presence in the industry as a company that can offer them the competitive edge they need to succeed in today’s market.”
