Smallest available order now more than 60% off custom print price

ATLANTA – KiDS ScoreCard, LLC introduced its new Scheduled Printing Initiative (SPI) as part of its ongoing commitment to addressing sports properties and their sponsors’ need for innovative and affordable promotional products aimed at the youth market.

The predetermined print run allows for KiDS ScoreCard to group multiple orders together, passing along the cost savings from an expanded order. Minimum-quantity orders could drop more than 60% for sports properties and sponsors looking for a higher return on their investment.

The SPI joins KiDS ScoreCard’s existing custom printing option where clients can order branded products at any time. For custom orders, per-unit costs lower dramatically as quantities rise. Yet some teams only needed a small number of KiDS ScoreCards or could not afford a large order. KiDS ScoreCard’s 1,000-piece minimum order was sometimes too expensive for minor league and collegiate-level franchises and their smaller marketing budgets.

“We recognized that a large share of the marketplace did not have enough budgeted for a premium such as KiDS ScoreCard,” said Kurt Hunzeker, KiDS ScoreCard’s Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Corporate Partnerships. “Instead of turning away teams interested in our product, we turned our attention on ways we could best serve them, primarily how to lower the cost for them.”

The SPI focuses on the four times during the calendar year most sports-related properties produce their premiums for the upcoming season. The first schedule order is set for Monday, August 21st; designed for baseball teams to order end-of-season promotional items, and professional and collegiate football programs for their upcoming seasons. Other SPI dates include:

- Monday, September 11th – Basketball and hockey teams starting their seasons in October and November
- Monday, January 8th – Arena football and collegiate spring sports teams
- Monday, February 12 – Baseball and softball teams for the 2007 season
