The RSS Developer's Pack contains components that allow you as a developer to put up-to-the-minute product news straight into your products with a minimum of effort.
Changing your site's news feed file changes what all your users see in one easy stroke. The feed could contain urgent release notes, usage tips (of the day?), product / event announcements, or anything else that you desire to communicate to the users of your software.
When a new article is detected, the control changes appearance indicating that there is something new to read, without interrupting the task at hand.
