After 3-4 Yrs of work, the owners of PopuPlace.com have considered calling it quits, the main network site PopuPlace.com (ThePopulacePlaceNetwork.com / PopulacePlace.com) is now up for sale at the price of $10,000,000.00 (yes this is 10 Million US Dollars). Included in this would be the network sub sites including ThePopulacePlaceNetwork.com, PopulacePlace.com, IPopu.com, & PopuBid.com. The purchase of this would include all of the websites files and information, all advertising tools, all domains listed, all members, ect. the full list is provided below.
Why are we selling?
To be 100% honest with you, the site has become so large, and so time consuming the ownership and staff can simply no longer keep up. Add that mixed with our "less advertisements is better" theory, the costs are now exceeding our income, and with the sites growth nearly reaching our current servers monthly Bandwidth limit. Were coming exceptionally close every month to topping that limit, which would in return cost us money out of pocket. If the future owner decides to place more ad's, or the higher cpc ad's then we currently use, profits will greatly increase. Again, we followed the Google model, which has limited our potential income greatly. Adapting the Yahoo style advertising will resolve this issue if chosen.
Still, even with the proper income, the management of the site has far exceeded what the 2 owners are capable of maintaining. Our strict guidelines have made this occur, future owner's guidelines will enable growth at a much faster rate, as well as allow the site to run its self with less ownership rules disabling some of the sites full use such as auctions which are functional but not available. |
