Based on the British-style quiz night, PubStumpers began its operation in the spring of 2005 with great success. PubStumpers is a live hosted event which pits individuals or groups of patrons against each other and creates a fun environment. The quiz consists of rounds of questions, pictures and music clips with the highest scoring team at the end of the evening being awarded a prize by the establishment. A ‘season’ of PubStumpers consists of 12 weekly quizzes. The format has been widely acclaimed by both players and pub owners and has been used by pubs to increase attendance and sales on an otherwise soft evening.
