Ouatine and Mouhtassine, 2006 best sportsmen in Morocco
Moroccan boxer Mehdi Ouatine and tenniswoman Bahia Mouhtassine were picked up 2006 best Moroccan sportsmen, revealed here on Monday a poll conducted by the sports desk of the Arab Maghreb Press Agency (MAP).
The 2006 World junior boxing champion, Mehdi Ouatine (54 kilos) was elected best Moroccan sportsman after receiving 53 points, according to the poll.
Bahia Mohtassine, Morocco's and Africa's tennis champ, collected 116 points to be crowned best Moroccan sportswoman of the year.
Some 30 media and press bodies from Morocco and Arab countries took part in this poll. |
