These and other surprising facts are explained in a fascinating new online publication entitled Wow! Really? Updated daily, stories are contributed by three authors with a consuming interest in the unsual world around them.

Tom Harnish, a former computer Senior Scientist and coauthor of "The Directory of Venture Capital" published by John Wiley & Sons said, "I found that over and over as I read books and articles I would stop and say, 'Wow! Really?' I knew other people would enjoy the same facts and foolishness, and decided to start collecting and publishing them online.

Paul Bordes, founder of XXXXXXX and publisher of XXXXXXXXXX joined the publication to bring his editorial skills and incisive curiosity to the growing collection of material. "I've always been delighted when I find new ways to understand some hard to fathom concepts. Atoms, for example are inconceivably tiny. But if you think of them as big as a stadium and realize the nucleus would only be the size of a pea but weigh as much as the whole stadium it helps."

Kate Lister used to teach at Wharton Business School, coauthored "Finding Money - A Small Business Guide To Financing" also published by John Wiley & Sons, and until recently was president of an aviation company operating seven aircraft. "I love animals, " she said, "and the more I learn about them the more I'm thrilled by the amazing things they can do. I had one of those 'Wow! Really?" experiences the other day when I read that elephant seals can dive deeper than whales." Tom invited me to write about it in the new online publication, and I'm hooked."
