A dozen or so lapdancers gave "private dances" to the metal men in a specially reserved fleet of limousines that cruised up and down Park Lane until 4am. Limousine Strip, which runs the stretch Hummers and smaller vehicles, started getting reservations more than a week ago. One group of Japanese boys spent Pounds 1500 for an hour in a limo with three girls and copious champagne. They'd pre-booked and demanded only blondes. Limousine Strip's boss, Darren McGavin, says: "We'd never seen anything like it. As soon as a limo had a break between bookings, another bunch of guys would spill out of the hotel and hail us on the street and pull out bundles of cash."
