What is Digital DBA?

Digital DBA is a software program which acts as an Access Administrator’s assistant for handling routine DBA tasks.

Whether you’re a full-time database administrator who would like to offload some of your responsibilities, or a part time MS Access power user who wants to focus less on routine maintenance and more on higher level business issues, Digital DBA can help you out.

Digital DBA lets you quickly select the databases you’re managing, and then it automatically creates a maintenance schedule for each one. You can review and modify the maintenance schedule depending on the requirements for each database. In addition, you can specify who should be notified when a particular task finishes successfully or fails before completion.

If you’ve had problems with MS Access databases becoming corrupt and locking your users out, you can put Digital DBA on the job to monitor your databases and automatically run a compact and repair task, or notify you for manual intervention.
