UPI Columnist Jean-Claude Koven Speaks at In the Heart of the Awakened, Mount Shasta, CA July 7-9, 2006

Los Angeles, CA - Jean-Claude Koven, award-winning author of Going Deeper: How to Make Sense of Your Life When Your Life Makes No Sense, Prism House Press, and weekly Religion/Spirituality Forum columnist for United Press International (UPI), will be a featured speaker at the “In the Heart of the Awakened” Conference at the College of the Siskiyous in Weed (at the base of Mt. Shasta), CA July 7-9, 2006. Koven’s talks will include themes from his book, written as a tribute to those who feel their purpose on earth is to help evolve the consciousness of humanity during this time of transition and shift.

Going Deeper is the acclaimed recipient of Best Metaphysical Book Awards from Allbooks Review (Editor’s Choice Award) and USA Book News. It “is the hottest metaphysical book of the millennium,” according to Linda Salvin, nationally syndicated radio show host. Jean Houston, PhD, Director of the Foundation for Mind Research, calls it “mythic and masterful…. a book to be read and reread.”

In the Heart of the Awakened is a three-day conference of speakers, musicians and attendees “honoring those out there on the frontlines who are helping us to usher in a new way of life,” says producer Shalomar of Shalomar Productions. Koven, a highly successful entrepreneur who started and ran more than a dozen businesses, studied with spiritual masters and led awareness-expanding workshops on six continents during his work years. He was born in France, educated at NYC public schools, and for a while at M.I.T.
