Calabrese has more than 20 years of experience in the security industry. His most recent experience included 10 years of building one of the largest and most elite central stations in the industry as vice president of operations for Monital Signal Corporation and remained on board when they were acquired by Criticom International. Previously, Calabrese served as the central station manager at AFA Protective Systems (AFA) and supervised electronic security services for Chase Manhattan Bank prior to AFA.

Calabrese holds a degree in applied science. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association, certified as a compliance agent for the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a licensed alarm monitoring professional in the state of Tennessee. He is also a level two alarm technician certified by the National Training School and is an operator and instructor certified by the Security Industry Association.
