Ortman, known for his albums "Naked", "Pat Ortman" and "The Wow Signal" had recently completed a 2 month long 5 city tour of the Pacific Northwest. Thomas Ackerberry, hotel spokesperson, said that Pat Ortman's body was found by a housekeeper in a suite at the Chateau Marmot hotel in Los Angeles along with large quantities of liquor and drugs. A note was also found that said "if it's good enough for John, it's good enough for me", apparently referring to the death of comedian John Belushi in the same suite years before.
