Descrption: 1. Start the DVD Cloner II after set up. ( Double click on the DVD Cloner III icon on your desktop) 2. Select the location of your DVD source file. ( which is what you want to backup). If you don't have a DVD-ROM drive, you can select the DVD burner as the source location. 3. Select the location to which the DVD will be backuped; generally this will be your DVD burner. 4. Place the source DVD into the DVD-ROM drive, and place a blank DVD-(+)R/ RW into the DVD burner. If you select the DVD burner as the source location in the second step, then place the source DVD into the DVD burner. After the contents of the source DVD is converted, the software will remind you toreplace the source DVD with a blank DVD disc. 5. If it is the first time that you've run DVD Cloner III, click OK to set the working directory as the default. If you have used DVD Cloner III previously, the software will skip to Step 6. Of course you may also select another directory of a partition of the hard drive. But the alternative directory or partition must have a minimum of 10GB free disc space. If using the DVD-5 format, or the "Fit on 1 disc" option, the minimum disc space needed is 5GB. 6. Select the mode of the output DVD. There are two selectable options as follows When "Fit on 1 disc" is selected, a DVD-9 will be backuped to a single DVD-5. If "Cloner to DVD-9" is checked, the DVD Cloner III will backup dvd movie to a double-layer disc. If "Movie only" is checked, the DVD Cloner III will backup only the dvd movies,no other content including the menu will be backuped. When "Split discs" is selected, DVD Cloner III will backup the contents of the DVD-9 onto two DVD-5s. If " Keep Menu" is checked, DVD Cloner III keeps the sub-picture of the movie. This option is available only when the "Split Discs" option is selected. " Shutdown Finished" is checked, DVD Cloner III will automatically shut down all windows when the dvd backup process is complete.
7. Ater completing the above steps clicks the Start button to begin the DVD backup process. The conversion and recording of the source DVD typically takes about an hour, but may range between half an hour and two hours. Once the DVD backup process is finished, you may review the contents of the dvd backup with your DVD drive. Enjoy yourself! |
