Descrption: How to Backup with Genie Outlook Backup Version 6.0 The backup job in Genie Outlook Backup 6.0 is divided into two different layouts in order to make the backup process as simple as possible.
You can switch between Easy Backup layout and Normal Backup layout by using the "Switch Layout" button in the main menu or by going to Preferences and clicking "Change Layout" in the "General Settings" window. Easy Backup (Two-step Wizard) This is a 2-step backup wizard that was designed to suit most first-time users and to make the data backup process as simple and straightforward as possible.
The two steps are: Easy Backup Settings Backup items Easy Backup Settings
The “Easy Backup Settings” window is the first step in Easy Backup layout wizard, in here you have two sets of options: 1- Backup File Name Settings A- Backup File Name: Enter a name of the backup job you intend to create. B- Select Backup Location: Here, you can choose the backup file location. C- Backup Description: If you want, you can write a description of the backup job.
2- Password Settings: Password: Enter a password. Confirm password: Re-enter your password to make sure that you typed it correctly. Backup Items
