Descrption: Jumpingjockey.com is now making their horse racing and soccer tips PDA friendly for their members.
This latest upgrade to their website is one in a long line of planned upgrades and features. PDA's (personal digital organisers) are growing in popularity, according to JumpingJockey.com, many punters are asking for such services to be available while they are trackside.
Tim Mehmet comments: "thanks to GPRS, 3G and the roll out of Wi-Fi hot spots around the country, punters who relied on their computers to access tips can now do so trackside or on the road, people with large screen phones can also access the tips as well".
"Making the web pages PDA friendly means that jumpingjockey.com members dont have to spend hours scrolling around the screen trying to figure our where everything is which nobody has patience for, a simple click and there it is, the other benefit is that members who have already paid for the tips can access them if they are out and about so they dont have to get them via SMS or expensive premium rate phone lines".
Others have also started developing their PDA friendly websites, Betfair, a popular betting exchange has created a tool they call Betfair Lite which presents prices for their markets specifically for PDA users.
Punters are becoming more savvy with regards to technology and clearly the trend to move away from the more traditional type of tipping service such as a premium rate phone call is no longer enough for the professional gambler. JumpingJockey.com plans to continue to develop its services to bring tipping services out from the dark ages and into the 21st century.
