Holland-Dozier-Holland was Motown Record’s premier songwriting production team responsible for the “Motown Sound.” They wrote and produced over twenty five top ten hits that were popular with black and white audiences and put Motown’s brand of soul music into the fore front of American popular music. A star-studded performance is scheduled for September 9-10, 2005, at the Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan, which promises to be one of the most entertaining events of the Year WHAT: Motown Music Fest, LLC, along with The City of Detroit will honor Motown songwriter’s/producer’s Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier and Edward Holland with a Lifetime Achievement Award for their groundbreaking achievements in influencing the direction of popular music worldwide at the Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan on September 9, 2005. On-stage a star-studded lineup of entertainers will perform some of their favorite Holland, Dozier and Holland songs.
