Descrption: 990 km far from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang is the coastal town lying by a river, surrounded by several mountains, with a busy port and splendid beaches such as Non Nuoc Beach (known as China Beach), and Tien Sa Beach. It is here in the 17th and the 19th centuries the Spanish and the French disembarked to attack the Vietnamese. The American jumped into Da Nang and built the biggest air base in the South-East of Asia. The city has been controlled by the Liberation Front after March 1975. Nowadays, Da Nang remains an active port and develops remarkably thanks to the open policy. Its city offers good beaches and nice resorts for any tourists.
