Descrption: The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University (http://www.cdiabu.com) is pleased to announce the opening of a new campus in Washington, D.C. CDIA’s state-of-the-art facility, located in a vibrant Georgetown neighborhood, will allow area residents to pursue their creative passions through CDIA’s unique approach to training in the digital arts.
The CDIA curriculum features intensive, hands-on training to prepare students for the real-world needs of their chosen professions. CDIA is currently accepting applications for the Summer 2007 session beginning in June, and the Fall 2007 session beginning in September. Certificate programs are available in Digital Filmmaking, 3D Animation, Graphic and Web Design, Digital Photography and more.
With digitization, imaging and sound, arts are undergoing unprecedented change, with technical advances coming at internet speed. Whether you are a novice choosing a new and exciting career or a seasoned professional in search of enhancing your skills, CDIA is dedicated to providing students with the best, most up-to-date education available, designed to meet needs, while you continually exceed potential.
“Our new campus in Washington, D.C. will deliver an immersive, hands-on approach to training in the digital arts,” says Bob Daniels, executive director of CDIA. “We’ve designed a space that will allow our students to express their creativity as they learn their craft.” CDIA's state-of-the-art training complex has over 30,000 square feet of classrooms, labs, and high-end photographic/video studios. The digital darkroom labs are equipped with the latest in imaging software and hardware.
