Descrption: Pulheim, 15th December 2004. The Pulheim-based COSA GmbH has added further functionalities to the business process management software COSA BPM. The most important features are an optimized process management in multi-company environments and a more comfortable user administration.
In COSA 5.1, the multi-company support is now also supported by the Business Activity Monitor (COSA BAM). By means of this new tool, it is possible to analyze company-specific data and represent it graphically. This data serves as basis for process optimization. Thus process quality and time analysis are improved considerably. Furthermore, you can restrict or extend company-specific rights in COSA 5.1.
COSA 5.1 also meets customer requirements regarding the user administration. Now, companies can design their individual organization models, including specific rights concepts, directly in COSA. For example, user-specific attributes can be administered individually. Of course, the BPM software allows accessing and adapting these elements in the process definition.
The COSA Worklist Handler, the completely Java-based standard front end, contains new functionality that enhances ergonomic working via the Internet or a company's intranet.
In addition, the integrated electronic archiving system, COSA DM, now contains further features for an efficient document management (DM)and intuitive handling.
With COSA 5.1, companies can model their processes individually, increase process security and strengthen their competitiveness. |
