NEW DIVORCE SITE FOR KIDS, BY A KID
Marietta, Ga., October 4, 2006 – Bill Sears, the founder of www.billsarena.com, was invited to speak at the Georgia legislature’s study committee on shared parenting. He spoke to 5 of the state house representatives including Chairman Tom Rice, Earl Ehrhardt, Edward Lindsey, Mark Butler and Judy Manning, While his comments were brief they were to the point and very powerful. At 15 years old Bill was congratulated by Chairman Rice and the rest of the committee and many of the onlookers in attendance. Mr. Sears has had several interviews and is an advocate for the youth of Georgia and the rest of the world on the subject of life after divorce. He presented some strong evidence as to why “shared parenting” (a combination of Joint Legal and Joint Physical custody) is in the best interest of children whose parents divorce.
His website consistently averages over 100 unique visitors daily. Mr. Sears was able to leverage his traffic and communications with visitors in order to present a very compelling case for shared parenting.
ABOUT BILL SEARS – Bill is a 14 year old 8th Grader in Marietta, Ga. His interests besides his website are music and reading. He is an honor student and 1st chair Tuba Player, Electric Bassist in Jazz Band and plays the String Bass in Orchestra.
