With her justifiably jaded perception of the MLM industry firmly in place she became quite satisfied living her life vicariously through the financial suffering of others Nevertheless, despite this cynical outlook regarding all things "MLM," she still remained convinced that somehow Network Marketing, in theory, could work. The goal became finding a way to create substantial income without expending energy and effort on behalf of someone else's financial gain. She continued to cautiously keep one eye open for signs of proven success. Then it was suggested to her that a successful network marketing business is not about selling, it's about building relationships. Just promote yourself! Having been a performing musician all of her adult life, it occurred to her that she had years of experience marketing and promoting herself. She could do that! If a company hides its true agenda behind devious legal lingo requiring research using a Black's Law Dictionary, most people's chances of success with that company are slim at best. She went to work immediately…evaluated companies…created a successful business…formed lasting relationships.
