Aaron Alonzo president and CEO of Cambridge Merchant Capital Group and economist has announced the opening of Carinco Ltd. Carinco Ltd is a Trinidad and Tobago company that will enter several market sectors including tourism, shipping, and transportation. Carinco hopes to introduce direct shipping from the US to Tobago, as well as facilitate the ability for businesses in the region to develop more direct relationships with businesses in the United States in order to further develop comparative advantages.
Alonzo believes that Carinco can offer the missing infrastructure that can help to make Tobago more globally involved through the large network of relationships that has been attained by Cambridge Merchant Capital Group over the years. He states that “The size of the local economic environment is relative to the reach of the currency movement of the common business cycle”. For this reason the ability to provide constant and competitive service in the tourist industry will put Tobago on the global map. |
